Buckeye

Alright so, I'm sooo sorry for the lack of posts but I've had no time really. I'll try to explain what I've been doing lately with some pictures :)

Yesterday, I had my FIRST footballgame and it was great! I don't get what they're doing but as soon as the crowd starts to scream and clap you know what to do so... I just started to clap whenever the others did, and it worked out fine!! No one could tell that I was swedish ;) There was this guy that asked Kyrsten and her boyfriend Jacob something about school and they answered, and the guy looked at me and said "so what do you do?" and I didn't know what to answer so the only thing that I figured out to say was "I'M SWEDISH >:(". Being swedish is an excuse to everything, for sure!!

Number 36 will make cute fluffy babies ;)
(he's mine in a couple of years)

Fairview!! :) My school, this is just a watertower though haha!!

And the yellow schoolbuses, I was in one today :D

Yep, that's how we do it :)

When we go to Fort Wayne, there is an area where lots of amish people live. We stalked a couple two days ago :)

Warning, amish straight ahead.

Our little Klaire that is fluffy and cute!

And big american steaks!

A cute place called Independence dam that we went to :)

Ah well, I'll update more later!

Some differences I've noticed so far

Sweden and America are not that different at all, but at the same time they are. Sometimes I'll just sit with my hostfamily and be like WHAT IS THAT?!? whenever there is something that I've never seen. So here are some things that I find very funny and different:

The cheese slicer
Alright, when I saw my hostmom with the american cheese slicer I went "what........?". There is a wire that goes through the cheese and that will make cheese slices. They prefered the swedish one though, because this one is hard to deal with and I understand why :)
The Church
I'm used to oldfashion, quiet and just soooo boring services in church, but the church here was great! It was actually alot of fun :)
This is the Church of God that we go to
                                                                         Great one :))
 Popsicles
You know how we've got out popsicles on a stick? NOT HERE. They're in like, a plasticbag and.... just weird. But they're good! And they look like this;
Fluffy Chickens :)
Okay so, I've seen the most cutest chickens EVER! And I'm sooo getting one when I come home, if they are available in Sweden ofcourse. They're just big, fluffy balls :)
Arent' they adorable? I poked one yesterday at the fair, so fluffy!!!

Some goats...

This was at the Fair today, and some random goat just couldn't stop beating Kyrsten, he liked me so I figured it's because I'm swedish.... :)
HA!

Cedar Point

So we were at Cedar Point today and it was great! I'll post some pictures so that you can see.. ME :)

This is before we went on a water splash thingy :)
Host mom Kelly, sisters Kaylee, Kyrsten and I.

And this is after..... but just as happy as before :D
Kyrsten, me and Kaylee :)

Here in america, there are shops for EVERYONE. Literally :)

Snowcones with Cherry and... I forgot :) It was so big that even Kyrsten and I didn't finnish it together, but it kinda exploded and went all over our legs so... yah, weird snowcones :)

For other pictures of me at Cedar Point, just check out my Facebook!! :)

In Ohio!

So I'm finally in Ohio and everything is great! Things are just so different from what I'm used to back home. I've been here for two days now and I haven't had much time to internet because I've been adapting to everything around here. I'll upload pictures and write more as soon as I can :) I'm thinking of making a videoblog because that would be easier than just writing like 30 pages of what I've done...

So however, today, I woke up pretty early eventhough I'm still messed up cause of the jetlag. I woke up at 7 am, took a shower, had breakfast and sat down infront of the TV with Kelly for a while. Kaylee and Kyrsten (my host sisters) were having Cross Country practise which is the sport that I will attend very soon  :) Later Kyrsten and I went to the mall and chilled, hah! I ate my firt pretzel-hotdog and it was good! I had a frozen lemonade with the taste of mango. Yum :) And we're not too unhealthy around here as you would think that the us is. My hostfamily eats alot of fruits and vegs so that is great!! and they love the swedish chuuclaaad as my hostdad kevin said, hahah :) So far so good though!
I'll upload pics and videoblogs and whatever it is soon, still adapting and still having a weird jetlag.

Say no to racism
